Dr. Afaneh earned his MBBCh (MD) from Cairo University in Cairo, Egypt. Later he would travel to Dublin, Ireland to earn his Diploma in Child Health at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. He would move to Michigan to complete his Residency in Pediatrics at Hurley Medical Center Flint. With almost 50 years of practical experience, Dr. Afaneh has worked all over the world including in the United Arab Emirates, the West Bank of Jordan, Egypt, Ireland, and the United States. Dr. Afaneh has practiced across Michigan completing a residency in Pediatrics at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Asthma and Sinus Center in Sandusky, ER at McKenzie Hospital in Sandusky, and was a Pediatrician and Emergency Physician at Deckerville Hospital.
